Laurent Eschenauer thanks for the heads-up, on closer inspection it looks like the problem is on your end — the URL in the with attribute of the action element has that quote at the end

Jovian Salak thanks :) If anything it means I’m more likely to get work when I get back — people are starting to find me, which can only be a good thing.
Tantek Çelik side note: nice to see that they list attendee’s URLs instead of twitter names :)
Laurent Eschenauer I love #lynx — I use it every time I’m thinking about performance, to remind me just how much slowness is down to all that decoration and fancyness :) And also to see just how crappily marked up modern “web apps” often are ahem facebook ahem
sophiedennis I love that, it sums up all the other codes in a single line :) but just in case you ever do need to write a full one with minimum hassle, the indiewebcamp one is CC0 and therefore highly copyable :)
cssquirrel even the if/else is redundant ;)
function awesomeWorkday(tasks) {
return (tasks instanceof coolJsonStuff || tasks instanceof coolApiStuff) ? true : false;
}
brad_frost woah, that URL almost beats http://twas.brillig.and.the.slithy.toves.did.gyre.and.gimble.in.the.wabe.all.mimsy.were.the.borogoves.and.the.mome.raths.outgrabe.jabberwocky.com/ in the Most Hideous “fluent” URL competition ;)
RobMMcCarthy both! Really looking forward to your talk — but expect heckling if you mention schema.org ;)
Jack Way Cmd + F5, Ctrl + alt + a and see what it says :)
@willnorris aw crap, an order of magnitude out! Thanks for the heads up :)
cgcardona I find duckduckgo.com’s coder-friendly features (like !mdn, stackoverflow answers inserted above search results, urlencode {text} and the like) to be super-useful — I occasionally fall back to google, but not often :)
boagworld saw it in Edinburgh 10 years ago. Still sends shivers up my spine :)
boagworld is that the exhibition where they have darth vader in a dark room, with his breathing playing in surround sound?
zakkain thanks! Wouldn't have been possible without previous work by Aaron Parecki and Tantek Çelik. So have you got it installed/what publishing software are you using it with?
Drew McLellan well maybe that’s going a bit far, but morrisoffspring are a bit awesome #folk
bruce lawson “yee-haw”, surely :)
Jovian Salak alternate solution: we throw a DIY pizza party with recitals of Half Caste, as a joint leaving party
Jovian Salak I know the solution: a farm nearby is selling a small hay bale (£3.50). Let’s buy it and roll it to the #mound.
Jovian Salak oh crap I was way off — I thought it was in May?!
